Kate is the office manager. She tends to business details as small as keeping everyone in erasers to as large as managing patient accounts and scheduling surgery. She has two grown sons who are graduates of Oregon State University (the Beavers) and loves skiing in the winter and tennis in the summer.

Born in Dickinson, North Dakota, Kathy has lived in central Oregon for 30 years and seems to know everybody. She is an LPN and she helps Dr. Redwine during examinations. Her other job is to phone patients 2 or 3 weeks after surgery to see how they are doing. If she detects a potential problem, she brings it to the attention of Dr. Redwine for his personal attention. Kathy likes the positive, cheerful attitude of the office, and works to let the patients know that there really is hope for being pain free after endometriosis surgery. Married since 1970, she has a daughter born in 1971 and a son born in 1976. Kathy enjoys flower gardening and trips to Reno.

Deena

Here is Deena. She is one of my back office nurses and usually works on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are having surgery on a Thursday, Deena will be the one who weighs you, measures your height, and takes your blood pressure. Deena also shares some business functions with Kate.

Deena and her husband came to Bend in 1985. They have 3 sons, born in 1986, 1988 and 1990. They all enjoy the active outdoor life of Central Oregon. Deena coaches skiing, mountain bikes, plays tennis and waterskis. When not keeping up with her men, she enjoys reading and playing on her computer.

When you call Dr. Redwine's office, there is a good chance you will be speaking to Alana. Alana and her husband moved to Central Oregon in early 2004. They enjoy camping, fishing and hiking.
